Today I realised again, as I've done a number of times in the past: I AM REALLY living my dream!
We're flying to Cape Town tomorrow, 16 August 2013, for the Celebrate Life Festival over the coming weekend. I'm going to present a talk on my book, with the topic "What do an Elephant and "no" have in common?"
My book, another life long dream, was published in May this year.
I have flexibility - I can see clients when it suits me.
I can visit with friends during the week. I had an awesome coffee date with a very dear friend, Nina Frank, at the Organic Market today. We haven't seen each other in weeks and it was so fabulous to connect.
I had lunch and a wonderful time with another dear friend, Berdine, two days ago. It so happened we were both free and we could make arrangements on the spur of the moment. What a privilege!
I don't have to do hours in traffic everyday. I'm able to schedule my appointments to avoid traffic altogether.
I hosted a short 4-hour workshop at home yesterday. I didn't have to pay for a venue, and the four ladies fitted in the lounge with ease. Everything went perfectly smoothly and I relaxed and enjoyed the workshop SO much. There were many lightbulbs, sighs of relief and insights. And I found myself so totally relaxed that it's hard to believe I used to get totally stressed out before workshops.
My schedule is flexible enough so that I can accompany my magnificent husband on a trip to New York in 3 weeks' time. I'll do sightseeing while he works for 3 days, and then we have another 3 days together. I can't wait!
I really am incredibly grateful for everything that's happened in the past few years to support me so that I can now live my dream life. Yes there are times when I want something different. And days like today, I realise I'm so very blessed. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
